Dr. Bibhuti Bhusan Nayak, MS, MCh , DNB (Plastic Surgery) is the Chief Plastic Surgeon and founder of this hospital. Dr. Bibhuti Bhusan Nayak, who does all the cleft cases in this hospital has a vast experience of more than 6,000 cleft cases over last 14 years. All the patients operated here have got excellent results in both aesthetic appearance as well as functional aspect. It gives immense pleasure to mention here that even some of such enthusiastic children have gone ahead and successfully participated in various competitive musical programmes and even some have reached their final rounds.
He is one of the leading and very experienced plastic surgeon in the country. He did his MS & MCh training from Sion Medical College & Hospital, Mumbai , which is one of the leading medical colleges in India. After his degree, he continued as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon in the same hospital till 2003 . He had an overall working experience of 12 years in Mumbai. He then moved over to Odisha in 2003 as Assistant Professor in S.C.B. Medical College, Cuttack. His main area of expertise is Microvascular surgery and Aesthetic surgery in addition to his vast experience in other spectrums of plastic surgery. He has more than 25 years of experience in this field and has performed more than 20,000 procedures across all plastic surgical spectrums. He has one of the largest series of microvascular procedures in the country to his credit. Not only the numbers, he has given excellent results in many of the complex and complicated cases during this period. Recently on 16th March, 2018 at Mumbai, he was felicitated by the Indian Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery for his outstanding contribution towards microsurgery . He has published many publications and papers in prestigious journals across the globe. He has been regularly invited as Speaker to many national forums. He is the former President of Association of Plastic Surgeons of Odisha. He, ably aided by his team of three young, well qualified and enthusiastic plastic surgeons, forms the core of medical team of the hospital and are providing excellent services round the clock.
